The Association provides assistance and service in various capacities to meet the needs of its members. Through coordinating the expertise within the membership and/or utilizing our extensive networking capabilities, we are able to assist our members in finding solutions to their challenges.
Peer Team Philosophy
The Association’s management staff is actively involved in leading and facilitating peer teams made up of members’ management personnel. These peer teams address issues, challenges and concerns within their areas of focus and collaboratively search for solutions and opportunities. Peer teams associated with core services, such as Risk Management/Safety, Agronomy, and Human Resources, are actively addressing current challenges and issues within their respective areas of focus. Other peer teams coordinated by the Association include: Communications, Feed and Animal Nutrition, and Grain Merchandising.
Industry - Member Representation
Association Management represents the members at various industry trade events, providing the members additional sources of information with cost effective representation. Industry stakeholders appreciate the ability to have access to, in a cost effective manner, the large agricultural market share the Association’s Members’ represent in their trade territories.
United Services Association is a 4R nutrient stewardship partner, embracing the recognizable strategy for economic, social and environmental sustainability. USA is also a supporting member of the Iowa Agribusiness Association Environmental Partnership.
Special Projects
Association Management can assist its members in providing human resources for special projects, research or temporary assistance.
